Workshop Association Introduction

This year, the current financial, political and social
instability make the San Isidro Fair even more significant.
The Fair is an event central to Castalla’s business and
commercial activity. It is a meeting place in which our
city’s businessmen’s involvement and commitment - and
that of our exhibitor colleagues from other cities - are
clearly on display.
The Fair continues to contribute to Castalla maintaining
its position as the leading city in the Foia region. Our proactive
attitude makes this occasion a special one, in which
leisure and services, amusement and investment, fun and
work, are all brought together.
Castalla’s economy has always been exceptionally diverse, and, led by all its companies and entrepreneurs,
this has made it better able to withstand the storms of
fortune. We also see this strength and resilience in the
Fair, which is much more than just an exhibition of
businesses and companies. It is, instead, an event that is
full of life, shared by all, which aims to meet all our needs
and have fun stirring up the market.
When all is said and
done, if you enjoy what you’re doing, you’ll be successful. And what is success for us? For us, it’s a success that, in2011, the Fair is having its nineteenth birthday.
I’m tremendously grateful for the efforts of everyone
involved in making it a reality each year, and invite our
neighbours and visitors to come and wander through our
streets.
